The DEVELOP Summer 2008 application deadline has passed. The Summer term is scheduled to begin on June 2, 2008 and end on August 8, 2008.

The Summer application deadline for the Goddard, Southern and Mobile DEVELOP locations has been extended to March 21st. Applications must be postmarked by that date in order to be considered.

Ohio DEVELOP Summer term applications must be postmarked by Monday, May 5th. The Ohio Summer term dates are June 16th - August 8th.

The DEVELOP Fall 2008 term application deadline is August 4, 2008. The Fall term is scheduled to begin September 15, 2008 and end on November 21, 2008.

Students who are currently enrolled in high school or college, are at least 16 years of age, and have at least a 3.0 GPA are eligible to apply for an internship and scholarship from DEVELOP, which is sponsored by NASA contractors. Students who are selected will complete one academic term (spring, summer, or fall) and must re-apply for each subsequent term in which they wish to participate. Students with a strong interest in environmental science, Earth science, technology, computer science, environmental policy, or mathematics are strongly encouraged to apply.

Students applying for the first time should complete the new student application. Applicants who have completed any one term internship should submit the returning student application. Applications must be mailed and received in the DEVELOP national program office by the day of the deadline. Students are responsible for ensuring their applications are received on time.
